How we protect your personal data
This page explains what data we collect through this website, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights. If anything is unclear, just write to us.
Who processes your data
The controller is Eko-Profit SK, s. r. o., Mierová 4327/21C, 920 01 Hlohovec, Slovakia, company number (IČO) 46 654 879.

What data we collect
We only collect data you enter in our forms yourself: your name, phone number, email address and, where relevant, your business name and the information about your business that you include in a message, quote request, or consultation or callback request.
When you submit a form, some technical data such as your IP address and the time of submission is also processed briefly. It is used solely to protect the website against bots and misuse.
Please do not send sensitive data, such as birth numbers or health information, through the forms. If we need it, we will agree a secure way for you to provide it.
Why we use your data and on what legal basis
Replying to a message, quote request, consultation or callback request: we need the data to reply and prepare an offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and for general enquiries our legitimate interest in answering messages under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Newsletter on legislative changes: we process your email address on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Website protection and technical cookies: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you become our client, the data needed to keep your accounts is processed under our contract and the relevant laws. We will inform you about that separately.
How long we keep your data
Form data is kept for no more than 12 months after our last contact if it does not lead to working together. If you become a client, we keep it for the duration of the contract and afterwards as long as the law requires.
Your newsletter email address is kept until you unsubscribe.
Technical data used to prevent misuse is usually deleted within a few days.
Who has access to your data
Only our staff who need your data to deal with your request can access it. It is also processed technically by our web hosting and website maintenance providers, strictly on our instructions and under a data processing agreement.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
The Google map on the Contact page only loads after you consent or click. Google may then process data under its own policies, which may involve transfers outside the EU.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing and to data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Just email us at ekoprofitsk@ekoprofitsk.sk. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling on this website.
Where to complain
If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can complain to the supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please get in touch with us too.
Changes to this policy
If the way we process data changes, for example if we add analytics tools, we will update this page and the date at the top.
